Welcome to South Ripley HS and our new HS website and the variety of information that is available on it. We are very pleased with the school year thus far and the host of accomplishments that our students have achieved. We feel we are making great strides as we continue to try and do what is best for our students, but also meet the state requirements.

Please browse the website and visit the many different pages that we have set up for our students, parents and visitors. I think you wil find a array of information that describes us and what we are about here at South Ripley High School. We are constantly changing and pushing our students to explore new ideas and challenges.

Please visit the parent portal to view your student's grades and to keep up with their homework and assignments. The teachers update that info each week, so you as a parent can stay informed with what your student is doing. Please feel free to contact Mrs. Poling in Guidance, the teachers or myself if you have any problems at all. We look forward to making your child's experience at South Ripley a good one.

 

Student Attendance Incentives

It is imperative that students develop good attendance traits in school, so that they can be successful here and also in life when they get out of school.

  • Class---------------the class that has the best attendance every two weeks will get to go to lunch first for one week

 

  • the class that has the best attendance for the 9 weeks will get cake and ice cream at the end of 9 weeks

 

  • Individual--------each student with perfect attendance at end of 9 weeks will receive lunch (pizza and pop)

 

  • each student with perfect attendance for the semester

will receive lunch and a movie (away from school) in May

 

Our goals for attendance will be 97% for all students and the High School for the 2nd semester.
