Dear Students, Staff, Parents, and Community Members:
Welcome to a new school year! Our commitment at South Ripley High School is to provide a safe and supportive academic environment. We want our students to be innovative thinkers, creative problem solvers and inspired learners prepared to thrive in the world as they leave South Ripley.
High standards and expectations for each student in regard to academic performance, co-curricular participation, and responsible citizenship, combined with teacher support in putting students first, will be the cornerstone of our school. South Ripley has a proud tradition of educating students today to become responsible citizens of tomorrow. Upon graduation from SRHS, our students will have fulfilled one or more of our three E's meaning they will be Enrolled at a post-secondary institution, Employed in the workforce, or Enlisted in a branch of the military.
The key to success throughout the high school experience is full participation in academic and co-curricular activities and programs. Students who act responsibly as an individual within our educational setting and teachers who put each students needs first are the factors that enable all to have a successful year.
I’m honored to have the privilege to serve our community as high school principal. I do not take this role lightly and I look forward to the opportunities the school year will bring. I believe the school is the hub of the community and we as a community serve our children together. I always want to speak to our students, parents, and community members whenever possible.
