South Ripley schools will be closed on Friday, January 19, 2024. This will be a synchronous eLearning Day.
January is School Board Appreciation Month and we want to thank these members of the South Ripley School Board for their commitment, service, and dedication to our school and community!

Raider Robotics had their first competition last night at South Dearborn. They did great!








Before break, our sixth grade students got to participate in their Annual Renaissance Fair. We loved seeing the creativity of each renaissance item the students made to trade with their classmates' items.

Thanks to US Congresswoman Erin Houchin for visiting SR today. We had a great time showing her STEM lessons, Science of Reading, a MILO robot lesson, discussing Champions Together & interacting with our JAG state officer! The Admin Team truly enjoyed hosting Rep. Houchin.






Great morning having breakfast with our South Ripley bus drivers at Crossroads. Thanks to this group (and a few who couldn't make it) for transporting our students safely each day! We appreciate you!

Our SR family rallied around the Laker family to help support Ashton in his recovery at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. We were able to present the family with a check for $2,500 to help offset some expenses for their family. Thank you to all who have donated in our Penny War!

5th Graders had a great time at the Indiana Reparatory Theater watching The Christmas Carol!

IDEM presented to Mrs Roepke's 5th grade classes on the water cycle. Students created bracelets representing parts of the water cycle to reenact the path different water droplets may take.







We want to send a big "thank you" to Mr. Myers (and Mr. Frey) for braving the cold to hang Christmas lights for our students today!

All students are welcome to join us in our 12 days of Christmas dress up days. Here they are in advance so you can prepare your outfits! We can't wait to see what everyone has in store.
