It's National School Bus Safety Week! We wanted to take the time to thank you for being aware of our buses. We're so thankful for our bus drivers that keep our students safe daily.

At tonight's school board meeting we recognized Nurse Bridgette Horan for leading our schools to becoming Project Adam Heart Safe Certified Schools. The board also recognized HS math teacher Wanda Ploeger for being named Teacher of the Month by Napoleon State Bank & The 812.


Our Lady Raiders battled but were defeated by a very good Brownstown team in the sectional championship this evening. Congratulations, Lady Raiders, on an awesome season. Raider Nation is proud of you!!

Our Junior High and varsity boys soccer teams held their awards ceremony this evening. Congratulations to the award winners on a job well done!


Our first Wellness Committee meeting will be held next Tuesday, October 22nd at 3:15 p.m. in Sandbox at SRES. ALL are welcome to join!
The eight components of school health include: health education, physical education, health services, nutrition services, psychological and counseling services, healthy and safe school environment, health promotion of staff, and family/ community involvement.

SRHS' very own Mrs. Ploeger was recognized as "Teacher of the Month" by Napoleon State Bank and the 812!! We are so proud and thankful for Mrs. Ploeger and her 35 and 1/2 years of service to South Ripley. She is a fantastic representative for SR schools and what we stand for!

Our JV Lady Raiders finished up their volleyball season tonight by defeating Henryville, 2-1. Great season, ladies!

Our Lady Raiders came up short tonight at the Rising Sun soccer sectional, 6-1. We have a great group of young ladies that represented SR very well. Keep your heads up, ladies, SR is proud of you!

The SRHS Athletic Hall of Fame Interactive Display was installed today! This enclosure has a 65" inch touch screen that will house team pictures, records, hall of fame inductee profiles, and other alumni information! Thank you to our amazing maintenance staff for the install!

Our Raiders soccer team is in Sectional action tonight against Milan! We are 0-0 in the first half with 35 minutes to go! GO BIG GREEN!

Congratulations to our Girls Golf award recipients: Lilly Jones, Jocelyn Meador, and Callie Comer! Coach Goldsberry recognized all his athletes at their end of season banquet tonight. Go Big Green!

ORVC Conference Champs! Way to go to our SR Lady Raider Volleyball teams as they both run the table for perfect records in the ORVC Conference to be crowned champions for the 2024 season. Congratulations to all coaches and players! GO BIG GREEN!


Our SR representatives were well supported tonight at the Farmer's Fair! We are so proud of Landon and Kylie for showing everyone what SR is all about! Special shoutout to Mr. Moorhead for his master of ceremony work! Landon walked away with King crown!





Dig Pink Night out at SR! We are getting ready for the varsity game against South Dearborn. Our pep club is ready, our team is ready, and our community is ready to support the Raiders and the families Sam Copeland and Julie Boggs. #OneTeamOneFamily!



What an amazing pep session that we had for our first annual Staff vs Student "Dig Pink" Volleyball game! Of course, our teachers were victorious and we were able to raise $450 to fight cancer!


The SR soccer team had "Teacher Appreciation Night" before the game against Rising Sun and Senior Landon Bradley honored his favorite teacher Mrs. Autumn Kimla! Thank you for your support of our student athletes Mrs. Kimla.
