At tonight's school board meeting we officially received our Cognia Accreditation Certificates for each building and the corporation. A whole lot of work went into earning this accreditation and we are proud to be Cognia Accredited schools!

South Ripley High School students had their Ivy Tech Orientation today on the Batesville campus. We are sending our largest group of students ever this year! Ivy Tech is the largest provider of higher education in the country and SR has grown because of our relationship.
Raider fans: 2024-25 sports passes are on sale in the main office at the high school. Please see Mrs. Snyder to purchase yours. Go Raiders!!
South Ripley High School was full steam ahead today! We welcomed our students back to our building and our students had a fantastic day. We take pride in our team and making sure positive student experiences are at the forefront of our efforts everyday. Go Big Green!

The South Ripley High School staff was hard at work this morning with our beginning of the year faculty meeting. We are looking forward to seeing our students at "Meet Your Teacher" night from 5:00-7:00 tonight at SRHS! Go Big Green!

Had the privilege of taking Macy Stone and Kaidyn Gilpin to the IHSAA Student Leadership Conference at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway today. We appreciate the IHSAA and IMS for hosting an awesome event!

There are a few updates for all parents to know with the upcoming school year:
1. All registration letters are set to be mailed out Thursday, July 18th. You should receive them by the end of the week or early next week. Students that were enrolled at South Ripley on the last day of the 2023-2024 school year will receive these letters.
2. Enrollment is now open for all new students who are coming to South Ripley. This can be done through our school website: www.sripley.k12.in.us and click on the green icon titled, "Enroll Today" to start the process.

Tonight the SR School Board recognized SRO Eddie Rodriguez for being named the District 10 Regional Exceptional Service Award recipient by the Indiana School Resource Officers Association! Congrats, Officer Rodriguez!
Congratulations to the SR volleyball program- Coach Gilpin, coaching staff and players, on this outstanding achievement! They get it done on the court and in the classroom!!
At tonight's school board meeting the board approved Brad Goldsberry as our new Head Girls' Basketball Coach. Brad & Josie Goldsberry attended the meeting with their two children and were congratulated by board members and administrators. Congrats & Good Luck, Coach Goldsberry!
SR was able to celebrate our Champions Together programs and our 2024 National Banner at the Ritz Charles in Indianapolis this afternoon. In addition, our Superintendent, Mr. Moorhead, was awarded the Visionary Leadership Award! What a great day to be a Raider!
