The Raiders Cross Country teams battled in Shelbyville today against 41 other schools in the Annual Small School Invitational. The boys team placed 13 out of 41! In a field of 262 runners, Mason Bascom led the Raiders with an impressive 26th-place finish. Carter Yelton followed in 55th, Saxton Hite finished 64th, and CJ Carter placed 78th. Owen Andrews and Ronan Kearney rounded out the Raider lineup. The Raiders improved 11 places from their 24th-place finish at this meet last year. From double training days to pushing through the extreme summer heat, this group is showing that their hard work is paying off and that Raider cross country is a program to watch this season. The Lady Raiders also ran great and Shaelyn placed 128 and Kaiden played 131. Great job ladies!

The Lady Raiders are opening their home section of the 2026 volleyball season tonight against Austin. Go Big Green!

A busy week for Raider Athletics as all teams are finally in action!

Applications are now being accepted for the Head Bowling Coach position at South Ripley High School. The position will start immediately and oversee the South Ripley Bowling Program. South Ripley juniors and seniors were on campus at Ivy Tech yesterday for orientation. SR is sending a record 64 students to Ivy Tech this fall saving families thousands of dollars! We are very thankful for our great relationship with Ivy Tech and all they provide our Raiders.

South Ripley Schools will operate on a TWO-HOUR DELAY on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 due to issues from the overnight rain and storms.
