The Lady Raiders are in action on this beautiful Friday evening against Lawrenceburg. They are preparing for a late game rally! Go Big Green!

We are still buzzing with excitement over here! A HUGE shout out to Emily’s Brew for sponsoring a school-wide pizza party today.
Our students worked incredibly hard to raise funds through our Hike the Halls Fundraiser, and thanks to this amazing local support, we got to celebrate that hard work in the most delicious way possible.
We are so lucky to have a community that pours so much love back into our school. Thank you, Emily’s Brew, for fueling our hikers and putting a smile on everyone’s face! We appreciate you so much!

In 8th Grade, the hydroponic grow tower is a cross-curricular project combining reading and science. Mrs. Gehring and Ms. Sides' Reading Class is reading the book Seedfolks, and the students are also growing their own lettuce without soil! Using a nutrient-rich water solution, the tower circulates all the water and nutrients the plants need to their roots. Each week, students are teaching plant growth, testing water pH, and recording their data along the way. 💚🤍

Today marks a new era for South Ripley baseball as we unveiled the newly renovated Forest G. Waters Field at St. Elizabeth Ballpark! Thank you to all of our sponsors for joining us for the ribbon cutting ceremony. It's a beautiful day for baseball and a great day to be a Raider!

Today we celebrate the retirement of Tina Clift after 26 years of dedicated service in the SRES cafeteria. She has also been a valued member of our Summer Maintenance Crew. Congratulations, Tina! Enjoy your well-deserved retirement!

What an awesome day for our Junior High students! 7th and 8th graders took part in a cross-grade level and cross-curricular STEM project, which was led by our very own Callie Kirk and her family. Students learned how to calculate the amount of grain feed goats eat each day and they graphed their findings on a coordinate plane to interpret the results. They also researched and wrote about important inventions in agriculture. The most fun was getting to see and hold the goats!

SRCSC Summer Meals TO GO!
We need your feedback. This summer, the South Ripley Community School Corporation is exploring an option to offer a new summer meal program. The NEW USDA SUN "Meals To-Go" Program allows South Ripley to offer FREE breakfast and lunch kits to ANYONE age 18 and younger. The "Meals To-Go" program typically runs through the months of June and July. Individuals do not need to attend one of these schools and can be younger than kindergarten to participate.

We apologize but our phones at the junior high and high school are currently down. We are working with Frontier Communications to get this resolved. Please email smeyer@sripley.k12.in.us if you are getting a busy signal when attempting to call for a high school student. If you are calling about a junior student, you may email hday@sripley.k12.in.us.
Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience.
