Big night at the SR board meeting: Coach Beach and the Raiders basketball team were recognized for their historic season, SRHS senior Eric Antras was awarded a $1,000 scholarship by Skillman Corp, and we welcomed Mr. Brent Ricke as our new Math teacher at SRHS for 2025-2026!

Indiana Department of Environmental Management Inspires Young Environmental Stewards at South Ripley Elementary The Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) recently visited South Ripley Elementary School, bringing engaging and educational Earth Day lessons to students in Pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade. Throughout the day, IDEM representatives presented age-appropriate activities and discussions designed to foster an understanding and appreciation for environmental stewardship. Students participated in lessons covering topics such as recycling, conservation, pollution prevention, and the importance of protecting our planet. These Earth Day lessons were a fantastic way to connect classroom learning to real-world environmental issues.

3rd - 6th Graders will be taking the ILearn Test April 21 - May 2. Please make sure all chromebooks are fully charged.
