Big day at SR as our elementary and JH/HS became Project Adam Certified Schools! Our emergency response teams are certified responders to sudden cardiac arrest situations. We take pride in providing safe schools for all kids! We are only the THIRD district in the state of Indiana to achieve this certification!

Our kindergartners took their annual field trip to check out the Pumpkin Show today. They're excited for this week!
Our 5th graders experienced a field trip to Big Oaks Wildlife Refuge /Krueger Lake for Science/ STEM hands on learning. Students experienced stations on ecosystems, outdoor safety, dog training, bird watching, water system and bee habitats. It was a great day!

We are incredibly proud of SRO Ed Rodriguez, who acted swiftly and courageously to save a student. When this student began choking during breakfast, Officer Rodriguez didn't hesitate and performed the Heimlich maneuver successfully! Way to go, Ed!

Mrs. Blevins has her Biology students working hard to build out our robots for the "Biology meets Engineering" program. SRHS is one of only two schools in the state of Indiana to partner with the University of Cincinnati on this initiative!
