Good luck to our SRJHS Lady Raiders as they start SEI tournament play tonight at 5:30. We enjoyed spreading that school spirit during a pep session this afternoon!

Junior High Track and Field practice will start on Monday March 4 from 3:30 - 5:00. Practices will be Monday through Friday after school, same times. Students who are interested will need to fill out the Google Form from their email (6th, 7th, and 8th grade) or the Google Classroom link (5th grade). Sports physician forms are available at the elementary and junior high offices. These will need to be filled out and turned in to me or Coach Halee Smith as soon as possible. If a student has already participated in a South Ripley affiliated sport this past fall or winter, the form will not be necessary. As track and field is an outdoor sport, it is necessary for the students to bring clothing that is appropriate for the weather to train in (i.e., t-shirt, long sleeves, hoodie, shorts, sweatpants, comfortable running shoes, etc.). Cowboy boots and jeans are not acceptable as it will limit the student from training at their full potential. We will also have a parent meeting for all track and field participants on Wednesday March 6 at 6:00 pm in the high school gym lobby area.
We are looking forward to another great season!
Coach Zach Raab
